ENVELOPE MACHINE ADJUSTER $35-$45/HOUR FULL TIME

JOB SUMMARY:

The Envelope Machine Adjuster will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of envelope manufacturing machines. This position directly reports to the Production Manager.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate envelope manufacturing machines to produce a variety of custom envelopes.

· Review job requirements to understand the specifications and parameters of envelope production.

· Prepare, align, and configure machinery, adjusting settings for ink, rollers, and paper as needed.

· Inspect the quality of envelope production by reviewing samples and making necessary adjustments.

· Troubleshoot and address issues with the envelope manufacturing machines, performing basic repairs as required.

· Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

· Maintain an inventory of supplies necessary for operating envelope manufacturing machines.

· Communicate any equipment or material issues to the supervisor promptly.

· Generate and submit reports for daily production totals.

· Keep the work area around the envelope manufacturing machinery clean and organized.

· Perform any other related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Ability to operate and quickly learn to operate various envelope manufacturing machines and related software.

· Strong ability to follow instructions with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Vocational/technical school training is preferred, and on-the-job training will be provided.

· Previous experience adjusting a Winkler & Dunnebier (W&D) 527 or Classic envelope converter is required.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Physically able to operate envelope manufacturing machines.

· Frequent bending or kneeling may be required.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
