PRESS ASSISTANT **ENTRY LEVEL**
SIGN ON BONUS: $1,000
$100 at 1 month, $450 at 6 Months, $450 at 1 Year
Starting Pay: $16 per hour
AVAILABLE SHIFTS – M-F
2nd – 2pm-10pm
12 hr.- 6 pm – 6 am
3rd – 10pm-6am (3rd shift starts Sunday nights @10pm)
SUMMARY
Assist in the operation of offset printing press.
Examine job jackets to determine job specific instructions
Assist in preparing machines for printing – including loading paper, cylinders, plates, and Ink
Prepare completed material for shipping
Perform wash-ups between jobs
Use safety techniques including interlocks, guarding, and PPE
Follow all processes outlined in the distributed SOPs
Perform all duties as assigned by Plant Manager, Supervisor and Press Operator
QUALIFICATIONS
Age 18 or older
Follow written and verbal instructions
Strong mechanical skills
