Schedule:
8-hour shift, M-F
Shift availability:
2nd shift (2pm-10pm)
3rd shift (10pm-6am)
Qualifications:
2-3 years of Press Operator experience
Ability to read and comprehend job ticket to ensure all requirements of the job are met
Ability to change plates, blankets or cylinders as required
Run press and pull samples to check for ink coverage/density, registration and quality
Possesses mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ensure press and associated equipment is properly maintained
Responsibilities:
Operation of UV press (up to 10 colors)
Perform machine make readies, achieving run speed standards, and matching color proofs or samples
Monitors the product for quality while minimizing waste
Accurately keep record of material and time. Accountable for equipment maintenance.
Any repairs needed on the press, or associated equipment should be immediately reported to the supervisor
Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and assists in repair of machine malfunctions; performs routine cleaning, and maintenance
