Envelope Adjuster

Ashton Potter is seeking a skilled Machine Adjuster who specializes in W&D 527 high-speed envelope folding equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform complete setups, changeovers and adjustments on 527 machines according to job sp3ecifications, including folding, printing, gumming, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and timing problems during production runs to minimize downtime and waste.
• Monitor product quality throughout the shift, making precise adjustments to ensure fold accuracy, seal integrity and print alignment.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure long-term operational reliability.
• Work closely with Machine Operators to maintain high-speed production targets while upholding safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an adjuster in envelope manufacturing (specific experience with W&D 527 or similar high-speed web/blank fed equipment is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use precision measuring tools and hand tools.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical timing and paper-path issues.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a high-activity manufacturing setting.
