The Print & Graphic Communications Association (PGCA) and Independent Printers Worldwide (IPW) are sponsoring an excursion to the industry renowned Drupa trade show in Dusseldorf, Germany. Drupa is being held from May 28 to June 7, 2024.

The PGCA/IPW trip is being held May 27 to June 1, 2024, and will combine 2 to 2 1/2 days at Drupa and 2 to 2 1/2 days visiting the wine country in Eguisheim and Katzenthal, France.

PGCA had been planning the PGCA/IPW trip for the 2021 Drupa which, unfortunately, was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. For that reason, we are especially excited about holding the program this year.

As many people know, IPW is the premier national group purchasing organization specializing in superior vendor programs for independent printers.

What you may not know is IPW President Dan Bendele’s family is from the Alsace wine region, and he has cousins who are 14th and 9th generation wine masters in the region. Plans are to visit their wineries, the Domaine Emile Beyer in Eguisheim (https://www.emile-beyer.fr/) and the Domaine Jean-Marc Bernard in Katzenthal (https://www.jeanmarcbernhard.fr/). We will also see Colmar, France and have a group dinner following the tours.
